HAVE YOU NOTICED? Society’s most wicked persons and/or the most violent and weird religious leaders may be freely and publically spoken about – but not so with our Lord Jesus Christ. Why is this, that his Name must be so avoided?

Jesus himself offers the explanation to this question in John 7:7. “The world… hates me because I testify that its works are evil.”

Still further, study these verses:

John 3:19-20 “This is the verdict: Light has come into the
world, but people loved darkness instead of light because
their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light,
and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will
be exposed.”

John 15:18-19 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it
hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love
you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but
I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world
hates you.”
