A former slave laborer in a Russian camp once said in our hearing, “The Communists have a mighty spiritual power behind them – Satan.”

The question comes, What power does our country have?

Bombs and the blood of brave men are not enough.

The insipid “gospel” of secularism, propagandized here and there from our land of plenty, is flat. Our efforts to do good all over the place seem to get us many a black eye.

What is the use? Nothing can be accomplished. The die is cast….So, many are saying.  LET NO CHRISTIAN SPEAK THIS WAY. That is to play right into the hands of our arch enemy.

Our Kingdom and our Power are WITHIN. God put His people here with a mission to be lights in this world of deepening shadows. The dark cannot thicken enough to quench real light.

An active, committed Christian can soon ignite his corner of life with the very presence of Christ. Praying for those in author1ty and witnessing with radiant faith to the Gospel is still powerful.

“A little leaven leavens the whole lump.” “Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” The world is, after all, still made up of individuals. They can be reached.
